Career Training Calculator includes three areas:

  • Performance Progression Calculator (see below)

  • Workload Design Calculator (see below)

Performance Progression Calculator

One of the most useful parameters in the career training plan of an athlete is performance time in their main event. After analyzing more than 200 of the World best athletes performance histories, we found the relationship between performance improvement and age. The career training plan for the young athlete may be modified in order to achieve specific performance times in the athletes development.

Enter your sport, event, age, gender, current performance, and the goal at the end of career training, and Performance Progression Calculator will predict the individual optimal times every year in career training until the age of peak performance. It helps to alter training programs accordingly.

Workload Design Calculator

Physical characteristics and physiological systems develop at different rates. During the adolescent growth spurt (typically between 10-14 in girls and 12-16 in boys) many parameters show accelerated growth size and strength. Between the ages of 11-12 for girls and 12-13 for boys is when the earliest increases for stroke volume, cardiac output, and vital capacity are seen. These increases aid in increasing aerobic capacity. Between the ages of 12-13 years for girls and 13-14 years for boys begins the period of (mix) aerobic-anaerobic training. Between the ages of 13-14 years for girls and 14-15 years for boys, begins the period for working anaerobic capacity. Between the ages of 14-15 years for girls and 15-16 years for boys begins the period for strength and power. Workload Design Calculator takes into account the "Sensitive Periods" of development of physical characteristics and physiological systems.

Workload Design Calculator designs individual long-term workload progressions until the age of peak performances based on athlete's age, gender, and current workload volumes.
